Learning at The Paddocks
Central to life at The Paddocks is the opportunity to learn and develop via attendance at Mercury College, whose mission is to enhance the lives of their students by focusing on their specific needs, capabilities and aspirations. It is a specialist college which supports students who have a learning disability, autism and complex needs, including behaviours that may challenge.
The college offers person-centred education and support, including a full range of Therapeutic Services based on site, for students aged 18-25 in an environment that works for them. This gives people the opportunity to progress and reach their full potential. The principal aim of the college is to enable their students to develop independence through learning in a college and a community environment that offers warmth, security and consistency. The Paddocks seeks to support this mission and aim by providing support and learning opportunities in college, the home and the wider community.
Mercury College currently has two locations – Juno Campus at Denaby and Flora Campus at Tickhill.
