Activities at The Paddocks

Set in a 14-acre site surrounded by fields and woodlands, The Paddocks affords all the opportunities of a spacious, rural environment; outdoor activities, hobbies and interests are part of the daily lives of the young people we support.

Our aim is for the young people we support to be known, included and valued within the local community. We go to nearby shops, pubs and restaurants, building strong relationships with those who work there and their customers. Local parks and walks are easily accessible. Further afield, we make full use of Doncaster’s many amenities, including the leisure centre, cinema, shops and  restaurants. Many of our young people enjoy the local football and rugby clubs.

The Paddocks has its own minibus to support community access, but whenever possible we also use public transport to promote  travel skills and independence.

From our central location in South Yorkshire, we explore a wide range of places and activities, including holidays around the UK.
