Activities at The Limes
Set in an ordinary residential street, The Limes affords all the opportunities of a community environment; the use of local amenities and leisure opportunities is embedded into the daily lives of young people we support.
Our aim is for the young people we support to be known, included and valued within the local community. We go to local shops, pubs and restaurants, building strong relationships with those working there. Local parks and walks are easily accessible.
Mercury College is on the doorstep, creating more opportunities to develop learning and leisure interests.
The Limes has its own minibus to support community access, but whenever possible we also use public transport to promote travel skills and independence.
From our central location in South Yorkshire, we explore a wide range of places and activities including holidays at locations around the UK.
