Welcome to Mercury College
Based in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, and in partnership with its associated residential and supported living services, Mercury College provides specialist further education, support and transition for young people aged 18 to 25 with learning disabilities and intensive specialist support needs.
Mercury College provides an innovative curriculum focused on Preparation for Adulthood and Education, Health and Care Plan EHCP) outcomes to create and deliver personalised study programmes to meet every student’s learning needs. We deliver specialist further education through The H.E.S.L.E.Y. Integrated Model, bringing together specialist education, Positive Behaviour Support, consultant-led clinical leadership and multidisciplinary therapeutic input.

Our person-centred curriculum encompasses communication, health and emotional wellbeing, community engagement, recreational/vocational programmes, employment and citizenship. Students are encouraged to participate in learning activities, empowered to make their own decisions and are supported through a full range of therapeutic services based on site.
Every student has a personalised study programme and progress plan to support their learning and enable them to achieve their aspirations and outcomes.
