Supporting Commissioners and Professionals
There is no single pathway through Hesley Group services. Support is designed to be flexible, personalised and responsive, enabling people to experience stability, wellbeing and meaningful progress over time.
Who We Support
Hesley Group supports people with learning disabilities and intensive specialist support needs. Many people we support are autistic and may also experience communication differences, sensory processing differences, emotional wellbeing needs, behaviours that challenge, and a history of disrupted placements.
Our Specialist Approach
Support across Hesley Group is delivered through The H.E.S.L.E.Y. Integrated Model. This includes consultant-led clinical leadership, multidisciplinary teams including psychology, occupational therapy and speech and language therapy, Positive Behaviour Support and clinical formulation, specialist environments supporting communication and emotional regulation, person-centred planning and lived experience, and structured governance and outcome monitoring.

Outcomes and Quality of Life
At Hesley Group, outcomes are defined by improvements in quality of life rather than simple behavioural indicators. Our focus is on improved emotional wellbeing, greater independence and choice, better communication and understanding, increased participation in daily life, and stable and supportive environments.
Referral Process
Referrals to Hesley Group are managed by our specialist referrals team. We work closely with commissioning teams to understand each individuals needs and ensure placements are appropriate and sustainable.
Partnership Working
Hesley Group works collaboratively with professionals and families to support individuals with intensive specialist support needs. Through partnership working and regular review, we ensure support remains consistent, responsive and focused on improving quality of life.
