Staff at hcs Specialist Supported Living

The staff at hcs Specialist Supported Living will provide high levels of support based on the assessed need. Finding the right support team is important to us. It’s not just about finding someone who does a good job; it’s also about finding a colleague who ideally shares the same hobbies and interests as the person they’re supporting. It’s a style of support that we know leads to great outcomes.

Recruitment and training: The recruitment process at Hesley Group is rigorous.  Before joining us at hcs Specialist Supported Living, people’s employment histories are checked in detail, references taken up and Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks carried out.

Our colleagues are carefully recruited, trained and supported to provide safe, consistent and person-centred care. Each team works closely with clinical colleagues so that support is informed by each person’s communication, sensory, emotional wellbeing and behavioural support needs.

Colleagues complete a structured induction and ongoing learning programme, including role-specific training, coaching, mentoring and professional development. Managers also access leadership and management development to support effective practice.
