Our college sits within
HG Learning:
Mercury College offers specialist further education, support and transition for young people aged 18 to 25 with learning disabilities and intensive specialist support needs. Many young people we support are autistic and may also experience communication differences, sensory processing differences, emotional wellbeing needs, behaviours that challenge and barriers to accessing education.
Students are able to access:
Bespoke curricula – based on Preparing for Adulthood Framework, personalised learning programmes using specialist areas of interest to immerse and motivate students. Progress is continually promoted and recorded.
College, community & home learning – opportunities to learn in different environments to maximise community engagement and independence.
On site therapeutic services – including speech and language therapist, occupational therapist, behaviour therapist; input to support the development of communication, and to address sensory and behavioural needs.
Employability skills – students supported to develop employability skills to take into voluntary and paid work beyond their college life.

The Paddocks – Set in the picturesque rural village of Wadworth in Doncaster, The Paddocks offers modern, spacious houses that are comfortable, well-maintained and personalised for young people engaged in our college learning programmes.
