A young man from Low Laithes recently began visiting charity shops. One day he happily chose a mini washing machine, paying for this independently too using his card. Arriving home he couldn't wait to show everyone his purchase. #independenceskills #socialcare
At Meadow View we have joined Mencap's #OneBigWalk challenge, to walk 1.5 miles every day in September to raise money for them. We're having lots of fun and are excited to complete more miles each day throughout September! #socialcare #fundraising @Mencap
On Friday 30/08/24 at Low Laithes we made some apple crumbles for a dessert time treat using fresh apples from a tree here within the grounds of our service. Everything was homemade by us and tasted even better than they looked 😊 #learningdisability #care #autism

On Bank Holiday Monday, one of our induction groups sampled a traditional #Yorkshire Roast Dinner! New staff from The Limes, The Paddocks & King Street, who were mainly from overseas, were treated to the surprise meal after hearing they were keen to try it. #welcome #socialcare
On 28th of August we celebrated #Makaton Awareness Day at Meadow View. We had lots of activities taking place including some Makaton singing & signing plus t-shirt, hat and flag designing.
A young lady from Low Laithes attended her sister’s wedding on bank holiday Monday (26th August) and was able to celebrate the special occasion with her family. She had an amazing time with her staff team.
One of our individuals living at Meadow View recently visited Rotherham Hospice (@RotherHosp) with Hilary (our Dance Tutor) and his staff to hand over a £1000 cheque. Hilary has raised this via an ongoing bring and buy sale with help from parents and staff. Well done Everyone 👏
Last week one of the people we support at Meadow View wanted to book Flares in Doncaster for his birthday party, so we did, and everyone had a fantastic time. A big thank you to the people at Flares and all his staff for making the night so special. #socialcare #doncaster
