Our Internal Training Offering: Skills for Today and Tomorrow
We provide a comprehensive internal training programme designed specifically for supporting people with learning disabilities. Our training is practical, engaging, and delivered by experienced practitioners who understand the realities of frontline care. This includes:
- Induction training to give you the essential knowledge from day one
- Leadership and management training for those ready to step into more senior roles
- Mandatory learning such as safeguarding, Positive Behaviour Support, medication, health & safety, and first aid
- Specialist modules including autism awareness, communication approaches, mental health and supporting intensive specialist support needs
- Continuous professional development (CPD) opportunities throughout the year
