Community Solutions is one of our adult provisions which is made up of three spacious houses and two individual homes and is based in the centre of Thorne. Community Solutions is within walking distance of local facilities including a supermarket, shops, cafes, restaurants, parks and leisure facilities. The larger town centres of Doncaster and Goole can be easily accessed by bus.
Being a Support Worker isn’t just about supporting someone in day to day life, it’s about having fun! The people we support are very involved in the things they like to do so they would love their Support Workers to play an active part in the things they enjoy as well. Fun could be anything from listening to music, gardening, going to church or even going to the seaside. We provide support that is person centred so that everyone has the right support for them.
A Support Worker is not a 9-5 job, and we understand your own time is precious therefore we have a fixed rota so you know exactly what shifts you would be working well in advance.

Hours of work - Full-time average of 36 hours per week (part-time hours may also be available)
Weekdays: Earlies 07:30 – 14:45, Lates 13:15 – 21:45
Weekends: Earlies 07:30 – 13:45, Lates 13:15 – 21:45
