Established in 1975, the Hesley Group provides flexible, specialist residential services and schools. We aim to offer the best possible care, education and vocational opportunities for young people and adults, often with autism, who have a learning disability and complex needs including behaviour which may challenge.

King Street at Thorne, led by General Manager Dawn Davis and her dedicated team, provides flexible, specialist residential care for adults with autism, who have a learning disability and complex needs including behaviour which may challenge.

Within King Street we are now looking to appoint a Part Time Domestic Assistant to work 16 hours per week.   You will work as part of a team to provide a safe, clean environment and the provision of quality services.  The role involves various tasks that are essential to making King Street an efficient and happy place to live and work.

You will be responsible for cleaning all items in the areas allocated to you by your line manager, ensuring that you maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness. It is important that you are able to use all the materials in a safe way and ensure that they are store away correctly.

Ideally, you will have some experience in a similar role, though this isn’t necessarily because full training will be provided.  You must be reliable and have good communication skills but most importantly have a passion for delivering a great service.
