Established in 1975, the Hesley Group provides flexible, specialist residential services and schools. We aim to offer the best possible care, education and vocational opportunities for young people and adults, often with autism, who have a learning disability and complex needs including behaviour that may challenge.  


Low Laithes is an adult service that is a former dairy farm that has been renovated and developed into a range of purpose built facilities. It is set in beautiful surroundings in rolling countryside near Wombwell Village and Barnsley town centre.



The Night Team Manager is responsible for ensuring a quality care service is delivered to the people who use our services during a waking night shift through the effective management of their team. Mentoring, supervising, deployment of staff and resources, along with the influencing of overall staff performance and acting as an excellent role model to ensure a quality outcome.


It is essential that you hold Diploma level 3 / 4 in Health and Social care and have significant experience in managing a team and its resources. An ILM Level 3 Management Award and an A1 Award or equivalent (or to be achieved within one year of appointment).
