Hesley Group is looking for an experienced and dedicated individual to join the company as a Clinical Psychologist. Our team of five Clinical Psychologists and five Behaviour Therapists make a key contribution to our capacity to provide effective person-centred positive behaviour support. About the role
The people we support in our services require support with a range of specific needs, including: issues relating to trauma, attachment and loss; emotional health and well-being; behaviour that challenges; identity and relationship development. Support may be delivered via individual sessions, but is often carried out indirectly through staff training and consultation.
You will conduct specialist psychological assessments and formulate and implement formal psychological therapy and/or management of an individual’s mental health problems. In addition, you will be responsible for implementing a range of specialist psychological interventions for individuals and to a range of stakeholders.
Your role is integral in enabling the people we support to develop skills that make them become more independent and to live a lifestyle of their choosing.
We are looking for a Clinical Psychologist with:
HCPC – Registered as a Practitioner Psychologist
Knowledge of creating and applying PBS plans to individuals and coordinating with care teams/ MDT.
Post qualification training in supervision of other Psychologists
Doctoral level knowledge of research methodology, research design and complex, multivariate data analysis as practiced within the clinical fields of psychology
Evidence of being a strong team player with a genuine desire to help others
Experience of working with people with a learning disability and experience of specialist psychological assessment and treatment of clients across the full range of care settings.
Ability to work flexibly in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
