Fullerton House School is a specialist residential school, offering flexible education and care for up to 52 weeks per year, for young people aged 8 to 19. All of our young people have complex needs including behaviour that may challenge and a learning disability, often in association with autism.

At Fullerton House School, young people live in the heart of the community, in an urban setting with facilities including a local sports centre with swimming pool, supermarket, outdoor market, shops, playgrounds, cafés, restaurants and large open spaces for outdoor activities.


We are now looking to recruit for a Driver Support.  This is a pivotal role in facilitating and supporting a safe and reliable commute for the people who use our service and their accompanying staff in and around the local area. You will provide additional support to the people who use our services at the location/activity itself, in line with the individuals support plan.

 

You will provide a safe and reliable service in consideration of highway codes, health and safety and basic vehicle maintenance.

 

You must have the ability to communicate effectively and have experience of working as an effective team member. A full, clean and current driving licence is essential for this role. Previous experience of driving in a commercial capacity would be advantageous.
