Fullerton House School is a specialist school and children's homes, offering flexible education and care for up to 52 weeks per year, for young people aged 8 to 19. All of our young people have complex needs including behaviour that may challenge and a learning disability, often in association with autism. Our young people live in the heart of the community, in an urban setting with facilities including a local sports centre with swimming pool, supermarket, outdoor market, shops, playgrounds, cafés, restaurants and large open spaces for outdoor activities.

We are now looking to appoint a Rota Manager to work as part of Hesley Group’s Children's Services, School and Colleges.  This post will have responsibility for the management of rotas and staffing across the school, children's home and residential college.  This role will also cover the newly developing/additional children’s homes at Fullerton.


You will be responsible for day to day rota planning and management together with active involvement with recruitment and retention.

You will be expected to demonstrate strong leadership skills, have a good understanding of rota management and the skill mix of the staff team. As a Rota Manager, you will work very closely with the General Manager, Registered Managers and Head to ensure the service is staffed appropriately and safely to meet the needs of the people supported.

You will work closely with Care Managers and provide training and support in effective rota management.

You should hold a Minimum NVQ level 3/Diploma Level 3 in Health and Social Care, and have the required knowledge of rota management and staff deployment across large teams, with the ability to communicate with all staff effectively.
