Hesley Group are opening a new 9 bed service in the market town of Easingwold, which is due to open Autumn 2018.
We are looking to appoint an Assistant General Manager for our new service in Easingwold. The
purpose of this role is to ensure the needs of the people who use the
service are met by working closely with the General Manager and
deputising as appropriate, to ensure effective management of the
establishment and its resources. You will help manage all referrals to
the establishment while ensuring quality and compliance with all Hesley
Group policies and procedures and other relevant legislation. You will
take responsibility of the establishment in the absence of the General
Manager and undertake on-call duties. You will line manage, motivate and
lead Team Leaders, to include appraisals and performance monitoring.
will hold a registered management qualification such as Registered
Managers award or Diploma Level 4/5 in management and have successful
experience of effectively managing staff and developing excellent
practice in a social care setting. You must have successful experience
of working with adults who have learning difficulties and autism
together with behaviours that challenge.
