Care Quality Commission - (CQC) the independent regulator of health and social care in England. Regulating care provided by the NHS, local authorities, private companies and voluntary organisations.

Autismlinks - a signposting service to help families, carers and professionals find their way through the many available websites linked to Autism.

Ofsted - The official body for inspecting schools. Provides links to school reports and official publications as well as a FAQ and contact details.

Challenging Behaviour Foundation - a charity specialising in severe learning disabilities and behaviour described as challenging. Established by a family carer, working with families and professionals supporting children and adults across the UK.

National Association of Special Needs Schools - (NASS) is a membership organisation working with and for special schools in the voluntary and private sectors within the UK. NASS is proud of its role in improving opportunities and standards for independent and non-maintained special schools.

National Youth Advocacy Service - NYAS is a UK charity providing socio-legal services. It offers information, advice, advocacy and legal representation to children, young people and vulnerable adults through a network of dedicated paid workers and volunteers throughout England and Wales.

Adults with Learning Disabilities Services Forum (ALDS) - aims to improve outcomes for people with complex learning disabilities by constructively informing central and local government policy through positive dialogue with policymakers.
