Specialist positive behavioural support team

Emma Brindley
Behaviour Analyst working across the Hesley Group

I have worked in the field of Applied Behaviour Analysis with people with intellectual disability and/or autism for seventeen years.  I have an MSc in Applied Behaviour Analysis and became a Board Certified assistant Behaviour Analyst in 2005 and a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst in 2010.

I began my career working on early intensive behavioural intervention programmes.  I have worked with both children and adults in a variety of settings which include family homes, schools, community teams and residential services.  I have also worked within a multi-agency safeguarding team which included input into residential services for people with dementia.  I specialise in positive behavioural support, functional behavioural assessment, reducing restrictive interventions and staff support.  I am currently studying for an MSc in Mindfulness Based Approaches.
