Established in 1975, the Hesley Group
provides flexible, specialist residential services and schools. We aim

for young people and adults, often with autism, who have a learning
disability and complex needs including behaviour that may challenge.
Low Laithes is an adult service that is a
former dairy farm that has been renovated and developed into a range of
purpose built facilities. It is set in beautiful surroundings in rolling
countryside near Wombwell Village and Barnsley town centre.
We are looking to appoint a Vocational
Mentor at Low Laithes. As a Vocational Mentor you will be responsible
for supporting the development of all vocational experiences.
Working closely with the people we support at Low Laithes, you will
support them in experiencing a wide range of vocational activities,
enabling them to develop skills, self expression, creativity and self

It is essential that you hold a Diploma Level 2 in Health and Social Care and have excellent communication skills.
