Fullerton House School is a specialist residential school, offering flexible education and care for up to 52 weeks per year, for young people aged 8 to 19. All of our young people have complex needs including behaviour that may challenge and a learning disability, often in association with autism.

At Fullerton House School, young people live in the heart of the community, in an urban setting with facilities including a local sports centre with swimming pool, supermarket, outdoor market, shops, playgrounds, cafés, restaurants and large open spaces for outdoor activities.

We are looking to appoint a Facilities Manager at Fullerton House School. This post carries the responsibility for the management of the domestic, laundry, catering, household and retail services provided at Fullerton House School and additionally oversight of the management of monies and funds of people supported. The role requires the use of initiative and the ability to directly manage supervise and support dispersed teams of core staff to ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment is provided for people supported and staff.  The post holder will manage all practical issues relating to general household duties, and the catering and nutritional welfare of the people we support and the logistical management of resources. This role will also involve contributing to, implementing, monitoring and evaluating plans aimed at bringing about continual improvement.



The successful candidate will have knowledge/experience relating to provision of catering, hospitality, and/or residential support service environment, along with experience of successfully leading/managing a team and budget management.
