Established in 1975, the Hesley Group provides flexible, specialist residential services to schools and colleges.  We aim to offer the best possible care, education and vocational opportunities for young people and adults, often with autism, who have a learning disability and complx needs including behaviour that may challenge.

Fullerton House School is a specialist residential school, offering flexible education and care for up to 52 weeks per year, for young people aged 8 to 19. All of our young people have complex needs including behaviour that may challenge and a learning disability, often in association with autism.

At Fullerton House School, young people live in the heart of the community, in an urban setting with facilities including a local sports centre with swimming pool, supermarket, outdoor market, shops, playgrounds, cafés, restaurants and large open spaces for outdoor activities.

We are now looking to appoint two Team Leaders at Fullerton House School. There are two distinct aspects to the role of Team leader, a direct support role to the people who use our services and a management function.

You will be responsible for the general supervision of the direct care provision of a team of support staff to ensure that the people who use our services receive person centred care support. Mentoring, supervising, coaching and assessing support workers practice is the primary focus of this role along with the influencing of staff performance and acting as an excellent role model.

It is essential that you hold Diploma level 3 in Health and Social care and have significant experience of health and social care. This is a great opportunity for someone with the right skills to gain further experience in a management role.

You will be joining a team who is passionate about safeguarding and promoting the needs of the people we support and a company who values its employees.

If you are a patient, caring and understanding individual, working with The Hesley Group will prove to be a fulfilling and rewarding career.

Supportive working environment, working with dedicated professionals,  Excellent ongoing training, Career management opportunities, Enhanced, Overtime rates of pay, Paid Breaks,  Rewarding career, great job satisfaction and the chance to make a difference to people’s lives.
