Hesley Village

A purpose built village located on the outskirts of Doncaster Hesley Village is made up of two registered areas, Woodland View and Village Green where residents live in single flats, three or four bedroom houses or bungalows. Allocation to a living unit is determined by the person’s individual needs, taking into account capabilities, age and social development. Each resident has their own bedroom and bathroom or ensuite which ensures dignity and respect for the individual who may need intimate care. Modern fitted kitchens facilitate learning opportunities for cooking and spacious dining areas, lounges and gardens offer warm and welcoming areas to provide a homely setting.

The Village is in close vicinity to the local village of Tickhill and Doncaster town centre is easily accessed by the bus route that stops in the car park of the Village.
It has a range of purpose-built workshops to accommodate a wide variety of activities and create positive vocational environments. There is also a range of excellent on-site facilities to complement and enrich the lives of residents including a brasserie, cinema, shop, bank/post office, therapy suite, hairdressers, clothes shop, bar, medical centre and village hall.
