Our Services

The Hesley Group offers services for both Children and Adults with learning difficulties and challenging behaviours mainly arising from Autism.

The Group’s Children’s Services offer learning for life through dedicated provision of education, care and therapeutic services of the highest quality to help each student and resident to develop their range of skills and maximise their full potential.

Each student has an Individual Education Plan with step by step objectives enabling every success to be recognised and celebrated. Students follow the National Curriculum at Key Stages 2, 3 and 4. At Key Stage 4 students have the opportunity to participate in work related learning. Key life skills are integrated into the curriculum and form the basis of our students’ development. Extra-curricular activities are offered during the evening, weekends and school holidays and are designed to be fun and educational.

Our two schools offer contrasting environments, Wilsic Hall School is set in its own beautiful grounds, whilst Fullerton House School is in the heart of Denaby. Both schools enjoy a variety of classrooms and a range of on-site facilities that complement and enrich student life.

Our Adult Services seek to develop a progressively independent life though bespoke care pathways based on individual’s specific needs, capabilities and aspirations. We pride ourselves in providing a supported living model within a residential environment so that all of our residents become active members of their community, leading to meaningful social inclusion and citizenship.

A number of residents live in the heart of the community and access local shops and amenities on a daily basis, others regularly participate in work placements and college courses. A multi-disciplined team of professionals cover all aspects of therapeutic care including; speech and language, psychiatry, care and behaviour management, and a range of activities.
